I'm interested in the ways simple images can hold unexpected meaning through the memories, ideas, and experiences we bring to them. A leaf can become more than a study of nature. A landscape can become a memory. Folded paper can carry an unexpected idea. The familiar can begin to reveal something unseen.

Working primarily in watercolor and graphite, I create images that explore the relationship between what we see and what those images can come to represent. My hope is that each piece invites viewers to pause, look a little longer, and discover their own connections.
